In order to meet new experiences and innovative tourism products those are being developed in Chile and promote a new offer, with a hallmark, born the first version of the Contest: More Touristic Value.
Were 345 applications from entrepreneurs; of these, four were highlighted by the National Director of SERNATUR, Omar Hernandez:
Billy Morales from Tarapaca company “Misticos Outdoors”; Emerson Basoalto from Maule, with its “Cultural Maule” project; Carolina Baltra from La Araucanía with “La Ruta del Budi” and Juan Jose Salas from Magellan with Expedition Fitz Roy.
Undersecretary for Tourism, Javiera Montes: The winners have innovative, creative and integrated value to the environment, also, they recognize historical elements and are part of tourism experiences like we are deploying in the National Plan for Sustainable Tourism Development.
